Schellen has been the sole drummer in Yes since Alan White passed away in May 2022. Having first worked with the band in Jul 2016, he was announced as a new permanent band member in Feb 2023. Schellen appeared at the Alan White tribute show on 2 Oct 2022 in Seattle: see details under White. He also played percussion on The Quest, along side White on drums, and on Tony Kaye's solo album, End of Innocence.

Schellen is in Arc of Life with Billy Sherwood, Jon Davison, Jimmy Haun and Dave Kerzner (In Continuum, Mantra Vega, worked with Francis Dunnery, Jon Anderson, Steve Hackett, Steven Wilson, Genesis, ex-Giraffe). They had a new album out in Nov 2022: see details on main page. Sherwood, Haun and Schellen are also in CIRCA: with Tony Kaye, with a new album "nearly complete" according to a Mar 2023 interview with Sherwood by Aymeric Leroy (author of "Yes").

In a May 2023 interview with Yes Music Podcast, asked about whether Schellen writes material, Jon Davison replied, "[Schellen] and I have already worked on a few things, in years past, that we're going to re-visit." It's unclear what the context here is.

In an Oct 2022 interview with Yesshift, Schellen mentioned a plan to release 1982 recordings with a line-up of Badfinger including Tony Kaye: see under Kaye.

In the Yesshift interview, Schellen also said that Unruly Child are continuing. The band is based around the songwriting partnership of Marcie Free (lead vocals), Bruce Gowdy (guitar) and Guy Allison (keys).
