A new festival sponsored by Mean Fiddler and Classic Rock Magazine for classic rock, progressive rock and metal, with over 40 acts over 3 stages (Main Stage, Metalhammer Stage, Prog Stage + cinema, shops, bars). The first day has ZZ Top headlining the main stage; the second has a one-off reunion by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. The Prog Stage will include Asia (expected to play their debut album in its entirety), Marillion, Focus (playing their 1973 Rainbow set), Transatlantic (headlining the Prog stage on Saturday), Pendragon, Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash (plus special guests, performing Argus), Steve Hackett, Argent (original line-up), Uriah Heep (performing Demons & Wizards), The Reasoning, Touchstone and Magnum. Acts appearing on other stages include Foreigner, Zappa Plays Zappa, Heaven & Hell, Black Label Society, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, UFO, Venom, The Quireboys and Clutch.
