Notes (****): Howe re-released his solo albums Portraits of Bob Dylan
on his HoweSound label on 12 Sep 2025, on CD and for the first time
on LP. To accompany this, HoweSound also released on 5 Dec,
digitally and on a limited edition (500 copies), one-sided,
mirror-backed, white vinyl 10", this EP. This consists of 3 Dylan
covers. (1) was recorded before Portraits. The other 2 songs
are alternative versions of songs on Portraits, recorded (or
maybe mostly recorded) in 2000. "One Too Many Mornings" is an
electric version in a different key, compared to the acoustic
version on Portraits. The version of "Mama, You Been on My
Mind" is described by Howe as "a more upbeat and optimistic
flavour." (HP, 6 Dec 2025)
