Developing an Ontology for Randomised Controlled Trials

This presentation will describe the development of an ontology in Protégé-2000 modelling randomised controlled trials (RCTs) with a medical focus. The work both extends and makes modifications to the Guideline Interchange Format (GLIF 2) developed at Stanford. The presentation will describe some general issues arising in the development process and a description of the finished ontology.
